The Lutheran Church Charities (LCC) K-9 Comfort Dog's mission is to share the mercy, compassion, presence and proclamation of Jesus Christ to those who are suffering and in need. The Comfort Dogs serve as a national human-care ministry embracing the unique, calming nature and skills of purebred Golden Retrievers.
Rachel is an accredited LCC K-9 Comfort Dog whose training began when she was 8 weeks old and she is a good dog! She works with her team of volunteer handlers and ministry partners in the community and surrounding area. She interacts with people of all ages at schools, nursing homes, and other facilities where her calming presence is requested.

LWML stands for Lutheran Women in Missions. The group is involved in timely topics of Bible study as well as several mission projects each year.
LWML's mission is to provide spiritual growth, ministry, and service to others in our church, community, and throughout the world; and to further promote the study of God's Word in order to develop a greater mission consciousness and relationship between younger and older women.
LWML typically meets the 4th Monday of each month.
Immanuel Lutheran Campus Ministry (ILCM) is committed to igniting faith on and off campus by walking with Christ who redeems us, loves us, and empowers us while guiding us through life’s journey. College is a time when supportive friendships, real community, authentic relationships, and strong faith are vitally important! Immanuel is a place where you can grow in faith while being equipped for success and service both now and beyond college. We invite you to be part of our ministry and consider making Immanuel your Christian Family Away From Home.
Any student attending Eastern Illinois University is welcome to join our group!
ILCM meets multiple times a week during the school year including:
