God has given Immanuel Lutheran a unique mission field here in Charleston Illinois. As a CHURCH, Immanuel serves a community of believers who live in and around Charleston. As a PRESCHOOL, Immanuel serves young children and their families through a faith-based educational program. As a CAMPUS MINISTRY, Immanuel serves the students, faculty and staff of Eastern Illinois University and Lakeland College.

These three significant ministries make up Immanuel Lutheran: a Scripture-based, Gospel-motivated, Mission-minded, Compassion-driven Church, touching hearts and changing lives with Jesus.

We believe that the Christian education and care of children is a cooperative effort that includes parents, children, teachers, and congregational members as partners with families.
