Leadership AT ILCM

Campus Ministry Leaders

Immanuel Lutheran Campus Ministry encourages students, faculty and staff to join us in ministry. We have a group of dedicated leaders who use their gifts serving, supporting and equipping others to live out their faith in Christ! Get to know them below.

Ashlee Robinson

Ashlee is a sophomore Early Childhood Education Major. In her free time, Ashlee like playing volleyball, basketball, and frisbee. She enjoys hanging out with friends and family, shopping, and eating. She is looking forward to strengthening relationships and meeting new people this year at ILCM!

Claire is a Junior at Eastern Illinois University majoring in Communication Disorders and Sciences. Claire enjoys classic 80’s bops and loves all types of coffee. She adores dogs of all shapes and sizes. She is always down to get a cup of coffee and discuss life’s wildest problems.

Katie is a senior Accounting major at Eastern Illinois University. When she's not busy studying or working, she enjoys drinking coffee with friends, writing, and re-watching Parks and Rec. This is her fourth year at ILCM and third year as a student leader, and she is excited to continue building relationships within the church and campus communities!

Audrey Rex

I am finally a senior at EIU! My major is Biochemistry and Biology with a minor in Spanish. I have loved being a student leader for the past two years and cannot wait to spend another year growing in Christ with you. My photo is from Best Practices for Ministry, where the leaders and I got to experience a weekend with hundreds of other Lutherans. I love animals and hope to become a veterinarian, but only have a beta fish at the moment, Moose.

I am a sophomore at Eastern, majoring in Public Relations. I am from Metcalf, which is a small town in East Central Illinois. This will be my first year serving as a student leader at Immanuel, and I am so excited for all the fun activities we have planned this year! Here are a few fun facts about me:

  • On campus, I work as a tour guide.
  • I play the clarinet in the marching band.
  • My favorite color is pink.
  • One Direction is my favorite music group of all time.
  • My hobbies include shopping, jamming out to music, cross stitching, and getting my nails done.

I am so glad you guys are here at EIU and can’t wait to see what God has in store for us here at ILCM!

sami_pic.jpgSami Boomgarden

Sami has been serving ILCM for 2 years! Sami is a senior Psychology major with minors in Chemistry and Neuroscience. When not studying for class or researching, Sami loves to read and listen to podcasts. The more sci-fi, the better! Counted among her favorites things are: Doctor Who, any kind of nerdy mug, and campus ministry! Sami is looking forward to the opportunities this new year will hold!
