SERVIng your community
Service is ministry and an important part of our faith walk at Immanuel. There are many opportunities for you to serve together with members of Immanuel and other members of our Campus Ministry. We schedule many local events and some weekend trips and longer events during breaks from school. Each year we explore these more specifically when the semester begins, and students share interest. Please complete an information card, complete the on-line form through our web site or talk to one of the ILCM leaders to receive the latest information about service opportunities.
We invite you to be salt and light to your neighbor. 20/20 vision does not mean perfect vision, but clear vision. We believe that God gives us “clear” vision to see the needs of those around us as He compels us to reach out to serve. In this ministry partnership, ILCM wants to support you in living out your faith by assisting you with helping others. We do this by providing your group of 3 or more people with $20 to add to your $20 to purchase supplies for serving your neighbor in a hands-on service activity. – That’s $40.00 you can use for the supplies necessary for service!
It’s really quite simple; we both put a little skin in the game and use it to serve the needs of others. All it requires is completing a simple application, identifying your service plan and providing your cash. The more people you've involved the less cash you have to provide. share with us your ideas or if you’d like to help, but have no ideas, check with us, we have plenty!

Can you lend a hand?
A simple way to help is to join us to help hand out bulletins and collect the offering during worship. If you would like to join other students to help usher or maybe even read the morning lessons – just contact Faith Morris. She’ll get you on the schedule and provide a little overview of the opportunity.
